Role- Manual Tester (Pharmacy/PBM Domain)

Duration – 12+ Months

Location- 100% Remote

Rate is $45

 

Job Summary-

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester with strong Pharmacy/Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) domain experience to support quality assurance activities for healthcare applications. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in manual testing, defect management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The candidate will be responsible for validating business requirements, executing test cases, managing defects, and actively participating in defect triage discussions.

 

The candidates should have:

• Strong Pharmacy/PBM domain experience
• Experience in manual testing and defect management
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Ability to create, track, and manage defects
• Experience participating in and driving defect triage discussions

 

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements related to Pharmacy and PBM applications.
• Design, develop, and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
• Identify, document, track, and manage defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in defect triage meetings and drive discussions to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and validate functionality.
• Validate end-to-end Pharmacy/PBM business processes and workflows.
• Maintain testing documentation, test evidence, and defect reports.
• Provide regular status updates on testing progress, risks, and quality metrics.
• Support production validation and post-release testing activities.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Pharmacy/PBM Domain Expertise
• Strong experience in the Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) domain.
• Good understanding of Pharmacy business processes, including: Claims Processing Benefits and Eligibility Verification Formulary Management Prior Authorization Drug Utilization Review (DUR) Mail Order and Specialty Pharmacy Pharmacy Claims Adjudication
• Testing Skills Strong experience in Manual Testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience in Test Planning, Test Case Creation, Test Execution, and Test Reporting.
• Expertise in Defect Lifecycle Management and Root Cause Analysis.
• Ability to identify, track, prioritize, and manage defects effectively.

 

 

In compliance with the salary transparency law, the expected pay range for this role is $20 -$30/hr. Actual compensation depends on experience and interview evaluation.
