zDevOps & Git Transformation (5+ Years) Experience 5+ years of experience in IBM Mainframe application development, maintenance, modernization, and DevOps transformation with hands-on experience in Git-based development practices, CI/CD implementation, and Mainframe modernization initiatives. Required Skills •Strong experience in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, TSO/ISPF, REXX, and Mainframe application development. •Hands-on experience with Endevor or similar Mainframe SCM tools. •Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or other modern source code management platforms. •Good understanding of zDevOps, CI/CD, Agile development, and Source Code Management practices. •Experience supporting Endevor-to-Git migration and source code migration activities. •Hands-on experience with Python for automation, scripting, and tooling development. •Familiarity with Zowe CLI, USS, IBM Developer for z/OS (IDz), and VS Code for Z. •Experience in production support, application maintenance, code promotion, and release management. •Understanding Mainframe modernization tools, development methodologies, and DevOps best practices. •Knowledge of build automation, deployment automation, and Git-based development workflows. Responsibilities •Develop, maintain, and enhance Mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and related technologies. •Participate in Mainframe Modernization and zDevOps transformation initiatives. •Support Endevor-to-Git migration activities, including assessment, migration, validation, and post-migration support. •Design and implement automation solutions to streamline migration, build, testing, and deployment processes. •Collaborate with DevOps, Development, Infrastructure, and Release Management teams to establish Git-based development workflows. •Perform unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and production implementation activities. •Assist in CI/CD pipeline implementation and DevOps process improvements. •Prepare technical documentation, migration guides, operational procedures, and knowledge-sharing materials.

Required Skills • Strong experience in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, z/OS, TSO/ISPF, USS, and Mainframe application development. • Hands-on experience with IBM Dependency Based Build (DBB) for build automation and dependency management. • Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or similar source code management platforms. • Strong understanding of Mainframe DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile development practices. • Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD orchestration tools. • Strong hands-on experience with Groovy scripting and YAML-based pipeline development. • Experience with Python, REXX, or Shell scripting for automation and tooling. • Knowledge of build automation, deployment automation, and release management processes. • Familiarity with Endevor, Changeman, or other Mainframe SCM tools. • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, Zowe, IBM Developer for z/OS (IDz), and z/OS Connect. • Experience working in Mainframe Modernization, Git adoption, or DevOps transformation programs. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain automated build solutions using IBM Dependency Based Build (DBB). • Implement and support Git-based development workflows for Mainframe applications. • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms. • Configure and optimize dependency analysis, impact analysis, and incremental build processes using DBB. • Integrate DBB with Git repositories, SCM tools, and enterprise DevOps toolchains. • Automate build, test, deployment, and release processes using Groovy, Python, REXX, and Shell scripting. • Support SCM migration initiatives from Endevor/Changeman to Git-based source code management systems. • Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams to implement modern engineering practices. • Create and maintain technical documentation, build frameworks, standards, and operational procedures. 

• Support Mainframe Modernization and Digital Transformation programs through automation and DevOps adoption. • Troubleshoot build, deployment, and pipeline issues across development and test environments. 5+ years of experience in CA Endevor administration, Mainframe SCM processes,
application lifecycle management, and modernization initiatives with hands-on
experience supporting Endevor-to-DBB migration programs within IBM z/OS
environments.
Required Skills
•Strong hands-on experience administering CA Endevor SCM in enterprise
Mainframe environments.
•Experience managing Endevor Environments, Systems, Subsystems, Types, Processor Groups, Processors, Packages, and Element Management. •Strong knowledge of z/OS, TSO/ISPF, JCL, REXX, COBOL, DB2, and Mainframe development processes.
•Experience analyzing Endevor processors, generate actions, package
movement, reports, and build processes.
•Experience supporting source code management, release management, and
application lifecycle processes.
•Strong understanding of Endevor architecture, application inventory
management, and dependency relationships.
•Experience participating in Mainframe modernization, source code migration,
and transformation programs.
•Ability to analyze and document existing build, deployment, and SCM
