Role- Databricks Architect
Location- Collegeville, PA / King of Prussia, PA / Philadelphia, PA (Preferring Onsite)
Duration: 8+ months
Rate- Keep low as possible
Strong communication with global stakeholders
ï‚· Architect and design end-to-end data solutions using Databricks (Lakehouse architecture)
ï‚· Lead implementation of ETL/ELT pipelines using Spark (PySpark/Scala)
ï‚· Define data governance, security, and compliance frameworks (HIPAA/GxP preferred)
ï‚· Optimize performance for large-scale data processing workloads
ï‚· Integrate Databricks with:
Data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse)
BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
Streaming tools (Kafka, Event Hub)
ï‚· Work closely with business stakeholders and data scientists
ï‚· Mentor data engineers and provide architectural guidance
ï‚· Implement CI/CD and DevOps practices for data pipelines
Education: At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.
