What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in backend engineering, including leadership responsibilities, with a strong track record of designing and scaling data-driven systems.

• Deep expertise in Python, PostgreSQL, and AWS, with experience optimizing backend performance, security, and reliability.

• Proven ability to work with high-volume transactional data systems, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and resilience.

• Experience integrating Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and global data solutions, designing robust analytics pipelines.

• Strong balance of hands-on development and strategic technical leadership, with a track record of making architecture decisions that drive business impact.

• Experience applying AI and machine learning techniques to backend development, including data processing, automation, and predictive modeling to improve efficiency and insights.

• Background in subscription-based businesses, with an understanding of recurring revenue models, customer lifecycle management, and data-driven retention strategies.

• Bonus: Experience leading small engineering teams or mentoring developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
