Position: Lead DevOps Engineer GCP Cloud Infrastructure

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires strong expertise in automation, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and cloud native operations. The ideal candidate will lead DevOps practices, ensure platform reliability, and guide the team in delivering secure, compliant, and high performing solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and manage GCP cloud infrastructure for enterprise applications.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Lead containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes (GKE).
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform or equivalent tools.
• Ensure observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks.
• Drive security, compliance, and governance across cloud environments.
• Mentor and guide DevOps engineers, fostering best practices and continuous improvement.

 

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Hands on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Proficiency in Kubernetes (GKE) and containerization (Docker).
• Experience with Terraform or other IaC frameworks.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of cloud security and compliance frameworks.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in multi cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
• Familiarity with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) and advanced orchestration.
• Exposure to DevSecOps practices.
• Leadership experience in guiding cross functional DevOps teams.
