Job Description

Title: Business analyst-9+ years of expereince

Client: CareFirst BCBS- 

REQ# 48592 (formerly 47584) –

CTH – Salary = $130k

Visa : USC/GC ONLY

12 month T2P

Hybrid/Reston, VA – 1-2 Video interview, then F2F is 100% required LOCALS ONLY 
– Hybrid in Reston, VA – Onsite more in the beginning (1-2x per week) for training and collaboration efforts. After a few weeks, they can get flexible but Sprint plannings every 2 wks in person, then PI Planning every 6 weeks, no matter what

– Lead BA– 8+ years w/ Healthcare exp, mentor junior team members, self starter, Experience leading large-scale ServiceNow program transformations, including Customer Service Management (CSM), IT Service Management (ITSM), and CRM modules.
– Interview Process: 1-2 video, then 1 F2F interview in Reston
– ServiceNow implementation (CRM, ITSM) in Jira is required
– Create workflows, implement product features, write user stories, must be able to translate a business document into a functional Requirement in the form a user story, within a SCRUM environment.
– Expert level knowledge in Jira is required
– Agile is required – Safe Certified / Safe knowledge is helpful
– Must be coming from large team environment (doesn't have to be large company, but large team is required)
– VERY IMPORANT::::: Must be coming from large teams sets (they have 2-teams, with 10-12 members in each team) – must be able to create stories for all members. A lot of work, must be comfortable with high volume work/high volume user story creation. Every team works on 7-8 stories per sprint (2 wk sprints) – so average is 21-25 stories every 2 wks
– Healthcare payor industry Exp: Required
– Degree: Nice to have, would like it.-
– Cloud/working in a DevOps environment would be a plus

** What stands apart (resume wise) = creating user stories, Agile exp, ServiceNow implementation exp (CRM, ITSM), the structure of the resume, the grammar/spelling, coming from larger teams/companies, polished LinkedIn profile, able to express the project that they are supporting, listing out achievements, digital product feature enhancements, working knowledge of API's.

 

This position require candidates that reside in the Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC area for frequent onsite meetings in Reston VA and a final F2F interview in Reston VA will be required. These positions are Contract To Permanent opportunities, offering career growth and stability with a premier Healthcare Insurance organization.

Required Skills

– 8+ years of Business Analyst experience with the last 2-3 years as a Lead Business Analyst.
– Must have recent Health insurance payor industry experience
– Must have worked on a ServiceNow (CSM, ITSM, CRM) related implementation/migration project (not just a frontend user of the tool)
– Education Level: Bachelor's Degree – In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
– Experience with interacting with large scrum teams
– Agile experience – Proven ability to deliver high-quality Agile artifacts and contribute to cost-effective, value-driven solutions. Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and business analysis core competencies
– Hands-on experience with creating 10-15 user stories per week in JIRA (SME level knowledge of Jira is required)
– Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and multiple concurrent initiatives.
Preferred:
– Experience within a UI related product and basic knowledge of Webservices/RestAPIs
– Cloud/DevOps project experience
– SAFE/Agile related certification
