Position: Java Full Stack Developer
Location: Burbank, CA (Onsite) – Need locals ONLY
Duration: 6+ months contract
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Java Backend / Full Stack Engineer with strong experience in microservices-based architectures, modern Angular (v19) frontend development, and AI-enabled development workflows. The ideal candidate will have hands-on exposure to LLM integration, Prompt Engineering, and Model Context Protocol (MCP), with a strong preference for candidates having Healthcare domain experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based backend services using microservices architecture.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services with MongoDB.
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using Angular 19.
- Implement and support AI-enabled development workflows, including:
- Integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) into enterprise applications.
- Applying Prompt Engineering techniques for effective LLM interactions.
- Hands-on implementation of Model Context Protocol (MCP) for AI-driven use cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps, Architecture) in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, security, and scalability.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting in production environments.
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience in Java Backend Development.
- Solid expertise in Microservices Architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Angular 19 for frontend development.
- Experience working with MongoDB (NoSQL databases).
- Proven experience in AI-enabled development workflows, including:
- LLM integration
- Prompt Engineering
- Model Context Protocol (MCP)
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, distributed systems, and backend design patterns.
Preferred Good to Have:
- Healthcare domain experience (strongly preferred).
- Exposure to enterprise-scale applications in regulated environments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps practices (CICD| containers) is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
