Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Data Specialist with 7 to 11 years of experience in Java and GCP Dataflow to drive advanced data analytics solutions within the GCP Data Analytics domain

 

Job Description          

Design develop and optimize scalable data pipelines using Java and Google Cloud Platform Dataflow

Leverage expertise in GCP Data Analytics to implement endtoend data processing solutions

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical designs

Ensure high performance reliability and security of data workflows on the cloud platform

Stay updated with emerging trends and best practices in cloudbased data analytics and pipeline development

 

Experience and Skills Needed

BS in Computer Science or a related field

7 years in IT including 2 years in Enterprise Architecture

Expertise in JavaJ2EE Spring Boot Microservices and Cloud transformation

Experience with GCP cloudnative development Dataflow DataProc GKE

Strong background in DevOps Docker Kubernetes CICD and largescale Batch Application Platforms

Experience in financial services and Big Data technologies Spark Hadoop is preferred

 

Roles and Responsibilities

Lead the development and deployment of data pipelines using Java and GCP Dataflow

Architect and implement solutions that handle largescale data processing efficiently

Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on best practices

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipeline performance and reliability

Collaborate with data engineers analysts and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs

Participate in code reviews design discussions and continuous improvement initiatives

Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and data governance policies
