Job Title: IAM AD Architect

Location: Charlotte, NC | Chandler, AZ | Irving, TX | Iselin, NJ

Required Experience

• 10–15 years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Active Directory (AD) architecture
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in regulated banking or financial services environments
• Proven leadership in enterprise-wide IAM remediation programs
• Strong exposure to regulatory and compliance-driven banking environments

 

Technical Skills & Tools

• Microsoft Active Directory technologies (AD DS, AD CS, AD FS)
• Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID (Hybrid Identity)
• IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Saviynt, and CyberArk (preferred)
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation
• Architecture and documentation tools including Visio and Confluence
• Strong understanding of database authentication and AD integration patterns across DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.

 

Core Competencies

• Enterprise IAM and Active Directory architecture design
• Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Effective stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
• Client-facing advisory and IAM consulting expertise
• Deep understanding of RBAC, least privilege access, and regulatory compliance
• Expertise in AD-based authentication and database security integration

 

Key Responsibilities

• Define and govern IAM and Active Directory architecture aligned with banking security standards
• Establish enterprise standards for service accounts, roles, groups, and access permissions
• Provide architectural guidance and approvals for IAM remediation initiatives
• Serve as an escalation point for complex IAM/AD design and risk-related decisions
• Collaborate with client security, audit, and leadership teams
• Present architectural strategies, risks, and remediation progress to senior stakeholders
