Job Title : Sr Hogan CIS Developer

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Hogan CIS Developer to support development and enhancement activities for a customer’s Hogan IDS banking application. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Hogan CIS within a banking environment, along with a solid understanding of core banking systems, SDLC processes, and enterprise application support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Hogan development tasks related to the customer’s Hogan IDS application, including customization and maintenance.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to design, develop, and implement enhancements in Hogan CIS.
- Review, update, and maintain technical design documents to ensure alignment with project requirements and system architecture.
- Develop, test, and deploy code changes following established coding standards and best practices.
- Conduct unit testing and support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and other advanced testing phases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues, and production incidents in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA teams, and system architects to ensure successful delivery.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide ongoing production support and ensure system stability and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, and internal policies.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in Hogan CIS development within a Hogan-based banking environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Hogan IDS architecture and modules.
- Experience working in core banking systems and financial services domain.
- Proficiency in mainframe technologies (COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and production support.
Preferred / Nice to Have:
- Experience with other Hogan applications/modules (e.g., Deposits, Loans, Customer Information System extensions).
- Familiarity with integration of Hogan systems with external applications and APIs.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of banking operations and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Hogan CIS development or related core banking platforms.
