Job Description:
- Must have a minimum 8-10 years of Experience.
- Skill / Role: Linux L3, Relevant Experience: 8+yrs in Linux, Qualification: Bachelors / Masters / Equivalent
Key Skills Required:
- Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written).
- Good working knowledge of MS OFFICE (Including MS Project and Visio).
- Installing, configuring and maintaining Linux Servers / Virtualization.
- Installation and configuration of HA environment
- Configuration and administration of LVM
- Installing and Maintaining kick start environment
- Writing shell scripts to accomplish day to day system administration task
- Administer and configure various FS like JFS, ext2, ext3, OCFS & Pseudo FS
- Capacity planning and fine tune system for optimal performance
- Knowledge on Apache virtual hosting, SSL website configuration
- Configuring SAN Luns and NFS storage mount/unmount
- Administration of NIS or LDAP environment. Configuring Unix Security baseline.
- Centrify management / installation / upgrade
- Experience in System Fault Tolerance Design, Business continuity and Disaster recovery planning.
- Performance Management & fine tuning.
- Patching (Ksplice and AWS SSM) and Package administration
- Firmware upgrade
- Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue
- Experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure etc.
- Experience in Ansible scripting.
- Experience in DevOps is added advantage.
- Experience on following will be added advantage
- Experience in Turbot Administration for AWS cloud management
- Experience in HP UX server administration
- Experience in Samba/CIFS administration will be added advantage
- User Management On-prem and AWS cloud
- Experience in Troubleshooting and work on Severity Incidents
- Experience in RCA documentation
- Experience in HPALM and ServiceNow ITSM tools
- Experience in Hardware Rectification
- DNS, NIS+
- Send mail / Exim / Postfix / Qmail, LDAP
