Role Overview
Looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager with strong Agile delivery experience and enough technical depth to effectively partner with Data Engineering teams. This role requires someone who can bridge business, product, and engineering teams while driving execution across complex data and platform initiatives.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable discussing data engineering concepts, understanding technical dependencies, challenging solution approaches when needed, and driving end-to-end delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage large-scale data and technology programs across cross-functional teams
Drive Agile delivery execution including sprint planning, backlog management, dependency tracking, and stakeholder communication
Partner closely with Data Engineering, Architecture, Product, and Business teams
Understand and help unblock technical challenges related to data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, cloud data platforms, and integrations
Track program risks, issues, milestones, and delivery metrics
Facilitate technical and business discussions to ensure alignment across teams
Drive execution across distributed/global teams
Ensure delivery governance, reporting, and operational excellence
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Program/Project Management with strong Agile delivery background
Experience managing technical programs involving Data Engineering or Data Platforms
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Ability to engage in technical discussions with engineering teams and understand data engineering challenges
Experience working with cloud and modern data technologies
Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Experience managing cross-functional teams in complex enterprise environments
Data Engineering concepts and architecture
ETL/ELT pipelines
SQL and data warehousing concepts
Cloud platforms: Azure / AWS / GCP
Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, or similar technologies
API and integration understanding
