Role: Data Modeler with Snowflake
Duration: Long Term Contract
Location: NYC, NY
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data models in Snowflake to support the tax system consolidation project.
- Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into data models.
- Ensure data models are optimized for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data models and data flows.
- Provide guidance and support to the development team on data modeling best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data modeling, with at least 2 years of experience with Snowflake.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and techniques.
- Experience with SQL and other data manipulation languages.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
