Cyber Security Project Manager to lead and manage cybersecurity projects from initiation through completion. The role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering security initiatives while working closely with cybersecurity, IT, compliance, risk, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end cybersecurity projects, including scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and status reports.
Coordinate with Cybersecurity, IT, Infrastructure, Network, Cloud, Risk, Compliance, and Business teams.
Manage projects related to security operations, vulnerability management, IAM, SIEM, cloud security, endpoint security, data protection, and compliance.
Track project risks, issues, dependencies, and action items and ensure timely resolution.
Facilitate project meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders and senior management.
Ensure projects comply with organizational security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Work with security teams to identify project requirements, controls, and technical dependencies.
Manage third-party vendors, consultants, and security technology providers when required.
Support cybersecurity audits, assessments, remediation programs, and regulatory initiatives.
Monitor project budgets and resource utilization.
Prepare executive-level dashboards, presentations, and project status reports.
Drive continuous improvement in cybersecurity project management processes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
5+ years of project management experience, preferably in cybersecurity or IT.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and risk management.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
Strong knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar platforms.
Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
