About the Role: The West Virginia Office of Technology (WVOT) requires specialized technical expertise to supplement internal staff for high-priority state projects. You will support and enhance mission-critical, dynamic enterprise web applications across a modern multi-tiered architecture while facilitating knowledge transfer to the state's internal team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain dynamic, database-driven enterprise-level web applications.
• Perform full-lifecycle analysis, data modeling, database design, and architecture for complex web applications.
• Build responsive web interfaces using ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, and MVVM client-side frameworks.
• Develop and integrate secure, scalable SOAP and RESTful web services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Project Managers, DBAs, Business Analysts, and policy staff.
• Utilize SharePoint and Team Foundation Server (TFS) for version control, project tracking, and team collaboration.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of .NET development experience with dynamic, database-driven enterprise web applications.
• 5+ years of web development experience using ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, AJAX, Visual Studio, and .NET Framework.
• 5+ years of hands-on Relational Database design, data modeling, and application analysis experience.
• 3+ years of experience using ASP.NET MVC, WCF, jQuery, and jQuery UI.
• 2+ years of experience with client-side MVVM architectural models.
• 2+ years of experience designing and developing SOAP/REST Web Services.
• 2+ years of experience using Microsoft SharePoint and Team Foundation Server (TFS).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
