Job Description

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Technical/ Solution Architect with deep expertise in Salesforce Health Cloud and Life Sciences Cloud to lead the architecture and delivery of complex, compliant solutions for the Pharmaceuticals industry, with a primary focus on Patient Services (Patient Support Programs / PSP).
The ideal candidate will design scalable, secure, and patient-centric architectures that support end-to-end patient journeys — from patient onboarding, benefits verification, and enrollment to therapy orchestration, adherence support, adverse event management, and personalized engagement.
You will act as the technical authority bridging business needs in Patient Services, Medical Affairs, and Commercial teams with Salesforce best practices while ensuring strict regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, etc.).

Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Design
•  Lead the end-to-end solution architecture for Salesforce implementations leveraging Health Cloud and Life Sciences Cloud (LSC), with deep focus on Patient Services Programs (PSP).
•  Design robust patient data models using the Unified Patient Record, Care Plans, Patient Journeys, and Life Sciences industry data model.
•  Architect solutions for key Patient Services capabilities:
•  Patient enrollment & onboarding
•  Insurance benefits verification & re-verification
•  Hub services & case management
•  Therapy orchestration & adherence programs
•  Personalized next-best-action / patient engagement
•  Adverse event / pharmacovigilance intake & reporting
•  Savings / copay assistance programs
•  Patient portals and self-service experiences

Technical Leadership
•  Define technical strategy, integration architecture, security & sharing model, and governance for multi-org or hyper-cloud environments.
•  Design high-performance, scalable solutions using ApexLightning Web Components (LWC)FlowsOmniStudio (FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures), Einstein, and Agentforce.
•  Lead complex integrations with external systems (e.g., Veeva, IQVIA, specialty pharmacies, patient hub vendors, EHR/EMR, claims systems, PV systems, middleware like MuleSoft).
•  Ensure solutions follow Salesforce Well-Architected principles, governor limits, and performance best practices.

Compliance & Industry Expertise
•  Deep understanding of Life Sciences / Pharma regulatory and compliance requirements in patient services.
•  Implement secure, auditable designs compliant with HIPAAGxPPHIPDPA, and other regional regulations.
•  Design data privacy, consent management, and audit trail capabilities.

Delivery & Collaboration
•  Collaborate with business stakeholders (Patient Services, Medical, Commercial, IT, Compliance) to translate requirements into scalable technical designs.
•  Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, solution consultants, and junior architects.
•  Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and org health assessments.
•  Support pre-sales activities, estimations, and roadmap definition when required.

Required Qualifications & Experience
•  8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, with at least 4–5 years as a Technical/Solution Architect. • Strong expertise in Salesforce Health Cloud (must-have) and Life Sciences Cloud (highly preferred).
•  Proven experience delivering Patient Services / Patient Support Programs solutions for Pharmaceutical clients.
•  Deep knowledge of OmniStudio (Vlocity) components.
•  Strong command of:
•  Apex, LWC, Lightning Flows
•  Integration patterns (REST/SOAP, MuleSoft, ETL tools)
•  Security & Sharing (OWD, Sharing Rules, Permission Sets, Profiles)
•  Data architecture & large data volume handling
•  Certifications (preferred):
•  Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Application Architect / System Architect path
•  Health Cloud Accredited Professional
•  Life Sciences Cloud / OmniStudio certifications
•  Service Cloud Consultant, Platform Developer I & II
Preferred Skills & Experience
•  Prior experience working in Pharma / Life Sciences organizations or consulting for Pharma clients.
•  Knowledge of Veeva CRM and integration patterns between Veeva and Salesforce Health/Life Sciences Cloud.
•  Experience with Einstein AIPrediction BuilderNext Best Action, and Agentforce for patient services.
•  Familiarity with HL7FHIR, and healthcare interoperability standards.
•  Experience with CI/CD (Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset, Jenkins), DevOps practices, and release management.
•  Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
