Strong SQL and Business Intelligence experience is required.
We are seeking an experienced
Platform Engineer / Data Product Owner with a strong background in
Data Analytics, Cloud Data Platforms, and Agile Product Management. The ideal candidate will lead enterprise data product initiatives, define product strategy, manage Agile delivery, and collaborate with engineering teams to build scalable cloud-native data platforms.
This role requires deep expertise in
Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Data Pipelines, SQL, BI, and Product Ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
Define and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for enterprise data products.
Align product objectives with business goals and enterprise data strategy.
Identify opportunities to leverage data for operational efficiency, business growth, and enhanced customer experience.
Define product success metrics, KPIs, and adoption goals.
Product Ownership
Own and prioritize the product backlog.
Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
Ensure backlog items are well-defined and ready for Agile development.
Make prioritization decisions that maximize business value.
Stakeholder Management
Partner with business leaders, Product Managers, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Business Analysts, and Architecture teams.
Gather and prioritize business requirements from multiple stakeholders.
Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, and requirement discussions.
Translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Data Platform & Analytics
Lead development of enterprise data products including:
Data Warehouses
Data Lakes
Data Pipelines
Data Marts
Reporting Platforms
Self-Service Analytics
Machine Learning Products
Ensure data quality, governance, compliance, and operational excellence.
Drive enterprise data modernization initiatives.
Data Engineering & Cloud
Work closely with engineering teams supporting:
Data Ingestion Frameworks
Data Controls
Cloud Platforms
Data Operations
Support enterprise cloud data solutions using
Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Utilize
BigQuery for enterprise-scale analytics and reporting.
Collaborate on scalable cloud-native data architectures.
Agile Delivery
Serve as Product Owner within Agile Scrum teams.
Participate in:
Sprint Planning
Backlog Refinement
Sprint Reviews
Retrospectives
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality data products.
Data Analysis & Business Insights
Analyze business processes and identify optimization opportunities.
Interpret analytical findings and provide actionable recommendations.
Monitor product performance using data-driven KPIs and business metrics.

Bachelor’s Degree in:

10+ years of experience in:
Product Ownership

Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience working with:

Experience with enterprise Business Intelligence platforms.
