Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to lead enterprise architecture initiatives and provide strategic technical guidance to Agile product teams. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, developers, and enterprise architects to define scalable technology solutions, product roadmaps, and architectural strategies aligned with business objectives.
This role requires deep expertise across multiple architecture domains including application, data, infrastructure, cloud, integration, and security, with the ability to guide technical teams through architecture decisions and modernization efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Architecture Design:
- Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and leadership teams to define product vision, strategy, and technology roadmaps.
- Design and maintain high-level architecture for products and enterprise platforms.
- Align business capabilities, value streams, and processes with technical solutions.
- Identify opportunities to modernize legacy systems and introduce innovative technologies.
- Support proof-of-concepts (POCs) for emerging tools and platforms.
Architecture Governance & Decision Making:
- Lead architecture discussions and guide teams on solution design decisions.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, standards, and security requirements.
- Evaluate technical risks, dependencies, scalability, and long-term sustainability.
- Collaborate with domain architects across cloud, infrastructure, security, and data teams.
- Maintain architecture documentation, standards, patterns, and reference models.
Agile Delivery & Technical Leadership:
- Partner with Agile teams to create architectural runway and enable future product development.
- Support prioritization of technical enablers, backlog items, and system enhancements.
- Mentor developers and engineers on architecture best practices.
- Participate in architecture review boards and governance committees.
- Work closely with distributed/offshore development teams.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in Solution / Software Architecture roles.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of backend technologies: Java, .NET, Python, Go.
- Experience with frontend technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
- Strong database expertise: SQL Server, Oracle, Relational Databases.
- Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, middleware, and integration architecture.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization.
- Knowledge of security architecture, networking, and infrastructure design.
- Experience with modeling tools/frameworks such as UML, ArchiMate.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and SDLC methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in enterprise architecture transformation initiatives.
- Exposure to financial services or regulated industries preferred.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
