This is a Mid-level position requiring a rare blend of traditional infrastructure security and modern cloud automation. The ideal candidate needs IT experience, with deep expertise in Venafi, enterprise PKI, and AWS cloud architecture.
Core Role Focus
- CA Management:Â Overseeing Certificate Authorities, Active Directory, and cross-platform authentication (Windows/Unix).
- Automation & Integration:Â Reducing manual overhead by connecting PKI tools with infrastructure using code.
- Audit & Compliance:Â Ensuring all key management, access controls, and certificate lifecycles are fully auditable.
Key Technical Requirements
- Venafi Expertise:Â Must have hands-on experience with Venafi for Certificate Lifecycle Management, RBAC, workflows, and reporting.
- Data Protection & Crypto:Â Deep knowledge of TLS, PGP, HSMs, tokenization, MFA, and SSH key management.
- Scripting & OS:Â Proficiency in Python, Bash, and PowerShell across Linux (required) and Windows (preferred) environments.
- Cloud & DevOps: Strong preference for AWS core services (EC2, S3, Lambda) and configuration tools like Ansible or Puppet.
- Experience Level:Â 10+ years in IT infrastructure with at least 3 years dedicated strictly to PKI environments.
