Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with strong expertise in ABAP on HANA and modern SAP technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and supporting SAP solutions while collaborating closely with Functional and Fiori teams to deliver scalable, high-performance applications. The role also requires strong debugging skills, root cause analysis, and experience working with enterprise SAP integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement SAP solutions using ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, SAP Cloud Technologies, and SAP S/4HANA.
- Design, develop, and support RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
- Collaborate with SAP Functional Consultants and SAP Fiori/UI5 Developers to deliver modern SAP applications.
- Develop and maintain integrations using IDocs, RFCs, Proxies, and other SAP integration technologies.
- Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex production issues.
- Debug and optimize SAP applications to improve performance on SAP HANA.
- Participate in technical design discussions, solution architecture, and development planning.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.
- Support the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions within project timelines.
Required Skills
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP Development.
- Strong expertise in ABAP on HANA.
- Hands-on experience with CDS Views.
- Experience in SAP Cloud Development.
- Strong experience developing RICEF Objects.
- Experience with SAP integration technologies:
- IDocs
- RFCs
- Proxies
- Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience working with SAP Fiori/UI5 and Functional teams.
- Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA Architecture and HANA Performance Optimization.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).
- Knowledge of OData Services.
- Experience with SAP Fiori Application Development.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Experience mentoring junior developers and providing technical guidance.
