C2C Hiring – SAP FICO S/4HANA Controlling (RTR) Consultant

The SAP S/4HANA Controlling (CO) Consultant is responsible for providing functional support, maintenance, and enhancements for Controlling processes within the Record-to-Report (RTR) cycle in an AMS (Application Management Services) environment. The role focuses on cost management, profitability analysis, internal reporting, and ensuring seamless integration with Finance (FI) and other modules.

**?? Key Responsibilities**

**? 1. AMS Support & Incident Management**

**? 2. Functional Expertise (Controlling – RTR)**

– Support key CO processes:

– Cost Center Accounting (CCA)

– Internal Orders (IO)

– Product Costing (PC)

– Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)

– Profit Center Accounting (PCA)

– Support cost allocation cycles, assessments, and distributions

– Ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting

**? 3. Integration with Finance (FI/RTR)**

– Ensure seamless integration with:

– General Ledger (GL)

– Accounts Payable / Receivable (AP/AR)

– Financial Closing activities

– Support reconciliation between FI and CO modules

– Assist in period-end and year-end closing activities

**? 4. Cross-Module Integration**

– Collaborate with other modules:

– MM – material costing and procurement

– SD – sales profitability analysis

– PP – production costing

– PS – project costing

– Troubleshoot cross-functional issues impacting financial reporting

**? 5. Change Requests & Enhancements**

– Analyze business requirements and design CO solutions

– Configure cost elements, cost centers, and controlling structures

– Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP teams

– Support testing (unit, integration, UAT) and deployment

**? 6. Period-End Closing Support**

**? 7. Reporting & Analytics**

– Support standard and custom reports for cost and profitability

– Assist in management reporting and financial analysis

– Support integration with reporting tools (Fiori, SAC, Embedded Analytics)

**? 8. Stakeholder Collaboration**

– Work with finance and controlling business users

– Provide functional guidance and issue resolution

– Participate in governance calls and service reviews

**? 9. Documentation & Knowledge Management**

– Maintain configuration documents, SOPs, and process flows

– Update knowledge base and documentation for recurring issues

– Ensure compliance with audit requirements

**? 10. Continuous Improvement**

– Identify improvements in cost management and reporting processes

– Optimize system performance and controlling processes

– Support S/4HANA upgrades and innovations
