Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineering Technology Leader
to drive engineering excellence, technology transformation, and
operational improvements across software engineering teams.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering
leadership, modern software development practices, and technology
transformation. This individual should be capable of leading
engineering teams, engaging with executive stakeholders, driving
AI/GenAI adoption, and improving engineering productivity,
reliability, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
– Provide technical leadership and strategic direction to engineering teams.
– Lead software engineering teams and drive successful technology delivery.
– Promote AI/GenAI adoption across engineering organizations to
improve productivity and development efficiency.
– Drive Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) transformation and
operational excellence.
– Modernize Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and
engineering practices.
– Lead architecture reviews and establish technical governance standards.
– Improve engineering productivity, application reliability, and
operational performance.
– Collaborate with executive leadership and business stakeholders on
technology initiatives.
– Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to engineering
teams when required.
Required Qualifications
– Proven experience in engineering technology leadership.
– Experience leading software development or platform engineering teams.
– Strong technical credibility and understanding of modern engineering practices. – Experience driving engineering delivery and technology transformation initiatives. – Strong understanding of SDLC modernization and engineering productivity.
– Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
– Ability to provide technical direction and guidance to engineering teams.
Preferred Technical Experience
– **AI / GenAI:** OpenAI, GitHub Copilot, LLM-powered solutions, and
AI enablement.
– **SRE / Observability:** Site Reliability Engineering, monitoring,
reliability, and operational excellence.
– **SDLC Modernization:** Software development lifecycle optimization
and engineering productivity.
– **DevOps / CI/CD:** Continuous integration, continuous delivery, and
automation.
– **Application Architecture:** Modern application architecture and
technical governance.
## Nice to Have
– Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
– Kubernetes and container technologies.
– Platform engineering experience.
