Location: Charlotte, NC (Only Local ) No- Re-Location

Job Description:

·       Lead the design, development, and deployment of RESTful and event-driven APIs on AWS.

·       Architect and implement API solutions using AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, and others.

·       Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

·       Mentor and guide a team of onshore and offshore developers, ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps.

·       Oversee code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

·       Implement security best practices for API development, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.

·       Monitor and optimize API performance, scalability, and reliability.

·       Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

·       Stay current with emerging AWS technologies and industry trends.

 

Required Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

·       7+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in a technical lead role.

·       Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, especially API Gateway, Lambda, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, OpenSearch.

·       Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and Node.js.

·       Experience with API design, development, and management (REST, OpenAPI/Swagger; GraphQL is a plus).

·       Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform), and DevOps practices.

·       Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·       AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer certification.

·       Experience in the financial services industry.

·       Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

·       Experience working with Agile methodologies.
