Role: Systems Analyst (Cobol/ Db2/JCL)
Duration: 6 months
Location: Pasadena, CA – Hybrid -once a week – Candidate must be local
Requirements
ā¢ A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field, -AND- Five (5) years of progressively responsible, full-time, paid experience in a centralized Information Technology organization, performing information systems analysis and design, application development, network administration or operating systems analysis
ā¢ Expert proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis is required
ā¢ Strong expertise in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau is preferred
ā¢ Experience with mainframe software tools, such as TSO, JCL, CICS, DB2, IMS, or MQ is required
ā¢ Experience in AI-assisted analysis and documentation tools is preferred
ā¢ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills is required
ā¢ Knowledge of business processes and best practices in various domains is required
ā¢ Attention to detail and accuracy is required
ā¢ Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL, and cloud platforms such as Azure is preferred.
