Role: Business Analyst with (Capital Market)

Location: NYC, NY (Onsite)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Interview: In Person

IMP NOTE: Capital Market experience mandatory or else ex Morgan Stanley only.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of total experience combining Business Analysis and hands-on software development experience within financial services or financial technology.
• Strong data analysis skills, including hands-on experience with SQL.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Candidate should be capable of understanding and solving highly complex problems, have excellent communication skills, and have financial services experience, preferably in investment banking and trading.
• Solid understanding of Capital Markets, preferably in Sales & Trading or Investment Banking.
• Experience working with trade data, position data, and reference data.
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Experience delivering medium to large-scale technology or data programs.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Trade Surveillance or market abuse monitoring.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding tools.
• Background working in highly regulated, risk-focused environments.
