Business Analyst with 8 years of experience in the PEO, Payroll, HRIS, HCM, or broader HR Technology domain. The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and hands-on experience leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance productivity, analysis, documentation, and solution delivery. This role will act as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver scalable and innovative HR and payroll solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, clients, product owners, and development teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze payroll, benefits, workforce management, and HR processes to identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
- Leverage AI-powered tools and technologies to improve business analysis, documentation, process discovery, testing, and decision-making.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, solution reviews, and stakeholder discussions.
- Support product enhancements, system integrations, and implementation initiatives within PEO and HR technology platforms.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and release validation activities.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive business, functional, and process documentation.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and Operations teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- 4–6 years of Business Analysis experience in PEO, Payroll, HRIS, HCM, Benefits Administration, Time & Attendance, or HR Technology domains.
- Strong understanding of payroll processing, benefits administration, employee lifecycle management, workforce management, and related HR operations.
- Mandatory experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar platforms to enhance business analysis, documentation, research, testing, and productivity.
- Ability to identify and recommend AI-driven opportunities for business process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process maps, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Experience working with PEO platforms, payroll systems, HRIS/HCM solutions, or benefits administration applications.
- Knowledge of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and HR operational processes.
- Experience with system integrations, APIs, data mapping, reporting, and data analysis.
- Exposure to AI-driven business applications, intelligent automation, workflow automation, or agentic AI solutions.
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, Agile/Scrum certifications, or equivalent are a plus.
