Role : Life Insurance Actuarial Modeler / Analyst
Location : Des Moines, USA (Remote till Covid)
Who are we looking for?
Senior Life Insurance Actuarial Analyst with modelling (Actuarial tool – like Moses, Axis Actuarial) skills for an insurance client based out of USA. The Individual should be passionate about technology, automations, experienced in testing cutting edge technology applications.
Skills:
· Strong Life Actuarial Modelling skills for 8-10 Years
· Experience in VBA for 2-3 Years
· Good knowledge with understanding the algorithms and calculations and creating associated testing documents.
· Overall Experience between 10-15 years in Life and Annuities space, predominately in Life Insurance.
· Experience working with L&A Products/Data Model in line with Traditional Life, UL, IUL, Re-insurance.
· Good to have – experience in AXIS Actuarial System
· Experiences in Life Insurance IT Projects – in driving / working with clients in Business Transformation journey
· Creating Business Process Flows – end to end for respective programs
· Ability to understand requirements and changes to requirements
· Strong L&A Business Analysis skills – with experiences in
o Working with L&A Products/ Data Model in line with Annuities, Traditional Life & UL.
o creating L&A Product Specification & Performing / supporting Product Configurations.
o Handling projects in Agency/Distribution Management.
· Knowledge on Agile methodology is an added advantage.
Process Skills:
· Capable of analyzing requirements and test software as per project defined software process.
· Ability to analyze existing processes and create Process Maps / Business Flows / Interaction diagrams.
· Ability to propose business process improvements after listing the issues / challenge in the current operating model.
· Ability to execute test plans, create test cases test data and contribute to appropriate software development life cycle methodology and application of specialized business and technical knowledge.
· Process adherence
· Knowledge of all aspects of the software engineering process
Behavioral Skills :
· Strong communication skills – in onsite / offshore engagement models
· Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction.
· Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.
