Role Overview:
- We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst Data Management to support enterprise data initiatives by effectively gathering business requirements engaging stakeholders and ensuring data solutions align with regulatory compliance and security standards
- The role requires close collaboration with business users technology teams and governance functions in an Agile delivery environment primarily within the financial services domain
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Business Analyst for Data Management projects involving data sourcing transformation quality and reporting
- Lead requirement gathering sessions interviews workshops walkthroughs with business stakeholders to understand data needs and pain points
- Document functional nonfunctional and data requirements including business rules data definitions and acceptance criteria
- Serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Analyze and validate data related requirements to support data quality completeness and consistency
- Collaborate with data engineers developers and QA teams to translate requirements into implementable solutions Support UAT activities including test case review defect triage and business signoff
- Ensure solutions adhere to compliance security and regulatory standards applicable to financial and customer data
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning daily standups backlog grooming sprint reviews and retrospectives
- Support production issues data investigations audit requests and regulatory queries as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Experience 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst preferably in Data Management or Financial Services
- Strong experience in requirements elicitation documentation and stakeholder engagement
- Good understanding of data concepts such as reference data master data/ data quality and data governance
- Experience working with cross-functional and global teams
- Excellent analytical communication and problem-solving skills
In compliance with the salary transparency law, the expected pay range for this role is $50 – 60/hr. Actual compensation depends on experience and interview evaluation.
