JOB DESCRIPTION:
Key Responsibilities
1) API Design & Development
Design and develop RESTful APIs conforming to TMF Open API specifications, including TMF630, TMF632,
TMF641, TMF921 and related telecom API standards.
Build backend APIs for:
CIQ management
Network inventory query and update
Topology data access
Configuration lifecycle operations
Service lifecycle state management Workflow trigger, monitoring, and control Intent lifecycle management Develop APIs that support closed-loop workflow automation, operational orchestration, and autonomous network use cases. Implement API contracts using Open API / Swagger specifications. Build reusable API components, service templates, and backend integration patterns. Ensure APIs are scalable, secure, observable, reusable, and production-ready. 2) CIQ & Network Inventory API Development
Develop CIQ management APIs to support network planning, configuration, onboarding, validation, and
lifecycle tracking.
Build APIs for querying, updating, and managing network inventory entities.
Integrate APIs with the MongoDB-based network data platform supporting CIQ, topology, configuration,
and lifecycle state data. [Exhibit 1…mation_SOW | Word]
Implement backend services that enable workflow automation engines to consume validated inventory
and configuration data.
Support integration with OSS/BSS, inventory systems, provisioning platforms, and external enterprise
systems.
3) Workflow Orchestration API Development
Implement APIs for triggering, monitoring, pausing, resuming, cancelling, and controlling automation
workflows.
Develop workflow status, execution history, audit trail, and operational control APIs.
Build APIs to support human-in-the-loop approval, rollback, exception handling, and remediation
workflows.
Integrate APIs with workflow orchestrators, automation engines, event buses, and domain-specific
adapters.
Ensure APIs support reliable automation execution across multi-domain network environments.
4) Intent Management API Development
Develop intent management APIs aligned to TMF921 lifecycle operations.
Implement APIs for capturing, validating, translating, activating, monitoring, and closing intents.
Support intent-driven workflow automation models for autonomous network operations.
Work with solution architects and domain SMEs to translate business/network intents into API-driven
workflow actions.
Enable integration between intent engines, policy engines, workflow orchestrators, and network
automation components.
5) Third-Party API Integration & Adapter Development
Build third-party API integration layers using adapter and façade patterns.
Develop protocol mediation services for integrating with heterogeneous systems.
Implement integrations with REST, GraphQL, message queues, event streams, and legacy interfaces where
required.
Build reusable connectors for OSS/BSS, network systems, inventory platforms, orchestration tools, and
external enterprise applications.
Handle request/response mapping, transformation, enrichment, retry logic, error handling, and
integration resiliency.
