Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 8+ years in system integration and solution architecture roles.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure Integration Services including:
o Azure API Management (APIM)
o Logic Apps
o Azure Functions
o Event Grid / Event Hubs
o Integration Account
o Service Bus
• Strong experience with JavaScript for scripting in APIM policies, data transformations, and serverless functions.
• Expertise in RESTful and SOAP-based web services, JSON, XML, OAuth2, and JWT.
• Solid understanding of EDI standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT), protocols (e.g., AS2, SFTP), and B2B integration.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns (EIP), microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform).
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience designing highly available, fault-tolerant solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Developer Associate are a plus.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Integration Architect to design and implement enterprise-grade cloud integration solutions using Microsoft Azure services. This role requires hands-on expertise with Azure API Management (APIM), Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Event Grid, EDI, and C# for scripting and custom policy development.
The candidate will drive the integration strategy across multiple systems, enabling secure, scalable, and maintainable communication between applications and services, both cloud-based and on-premises.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect and implement secure, scalable integration solutions using Azure API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions,Service Bus, Integration Account and Event Grid.
• Define integration patterns and best practices for real-time, batch, and event-driven communications
• Design and enforce API gateway strategies, including routing, throttling, caching, and transformation using APIM policies and C#.
• Leverage C# for:
o Custom API policies within APIM
o Data transformation logic in Logic Apps
o Lightweight code snippets in Azure Functions
• Lead the developers and develop event-driven architectures using Event Grid, Event Hubs, and Azure Functions.
• Design and implement EDI workflows for B2B integration using formats like X12 and EDIFACT, via Azure or third-party connectors.
• Define and implement integration patterns and frameworks (e.g., pub-sub, request-reply, async messaging).
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance best practices.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and development teams to understand integration needs, develop and deliver scalable solutions.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to integration developers and DevOps teams.
• Maintain technical documentation including solution architecture, interface contracts, and operational runbooks.
