Summary:
Seeking an experienced Azure Cloud & GitHub Platform Engineer with 10+ yrs in Azure DevOps to GitHub migration, GitHub Enterprise administration, and advanced GitHub Actions platform engineering to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation frameworks on Microsoft Azure & GitHub. The role involves close collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline delivery, enhance system reliability, and enforce security and compliance standards.
Job Description/ Responsibilities:
ā¢ Strong hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise Cloud/Server administration
ā¢ Extensive experience creating and managing GitHub Actions workflows using YAML
ā¢ Designing and implementing reusable workflows and composite actions
ā¢ Automating pipeline/workflow creation using GitHub APIs, templates, and automation frameworks
ā¢ Deep understanding of GitHub Apps, OAuth Apps, and GitHub authentication models
ā¢ Experience with OIDC federation, Azure Entra ID, Service Principals, and RBAC
ā¢ Azure integration with GitHub Actions for secure deployments
ā¢ Enterprise governance including:
o SSO integration with Entra ID
o MFA enforcement
o Branch protection rules
o Repository rulesets
o Secret scanning
o Depend Bot
o Least-privilege access controls
ā¢ Lead Azure DevOps to GitHub migration initiatives.
ā¢ Design enterprise-wide GitHub Actions frameworks.
ā¢ Create reusable workflow standards and automate pipeline generation.
ā¢ Manage GitHub Enterprise governance, security, and compliance.
ā¢ Implement secure Azure-GitHub integrations using OIDC and modern authentication methods.
ā¢ Support enterprise repository management, organizational policies, and platform automation.
