Job Role – Senior APM Engineer

Location – Charlotte, NC

Duration : Long term Contract

Skills required:

• Experience in installation, configuring and management of APM tools like Dynatrace (OneAgent & AppMon), AppDynamics and Newrelic and DataDog.

• Hands on Experience in administrating various tools like New Relic, AppDynamics, Dynatrace and Splunk.

• Create tags, management zones, alerting profiles and integrated Dynatrace with service now and JIRA.

• Has experience with ITSM and ITIL practices such as Change Management, Incident Management and problem and event management.

• Strong in Real User Experience monitoring such as finding health of visits and user actions.

• Expert at Setting up Custom Dashboards, health policies and alerts based on application team’s requirement.

• Using Dynatrace we have created tags, management zones, Alerting profiles.

• Experience on instrumenting different cloud-based land scape technologies such as AWS/Azure and PCF

• Strong in identifying bottleneck issues using APM tools Like Dynatrace Managed/SAAS and AppDynamics.

• Evaluate AppDynamics Patches and Fixes as needed for potential implementation.

• Work with architecture, business, and delivery teams to determine strategic direction for APM platform

• Worked on administrating log monitoring tools like Splunk, ELK also.

• Very strong knowledge understanding the Application Architecture and ecosystems.

• Created Custom Alert, Request Attributes and Custom service deductions.

• Strong in creating Analytics and Reporting using monitoring tools.

• Good problem-solving skills, Strong leadership and management skills

• Result oriented and proven ability in organizing priorities

• Ability to work independently as well as a team member.

Mandatory Required Skills: AWS, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk

Preferred /Desired Skills: JIRA, SQL, Python
