Position : SAP Native Hana Developer :: 50$hr ::
Location:: Remote
Roles and Responsibilities:
· The SAP Native HANA will be a technical expert responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data modeling and integration solutions for analytics.
· Data Modeling: Design, develop, and implement complex data models using graphical and SQL-based Calculation Views in SAP HANA Cloud.
· Thorough understanding of SAP HANA Studio with different perspectives (Modeler, Admin, developer etc.)
· Experience in designing and building Calculation Views, Calculated Measures and Restricted Measures, Variables, Input Parameters, Decision Tables, Table Functions, Stored Procedures and Analytical privileges.
· Performance Optimization: Implement and execute performance tuning techniques for Calculation Views, SQL scripts, and data provisioning processes to ensure optimal query performance.
· SAP Business Application Studio (BAS): Utilize BAS as the primary development environment for creating database artifacts, managing HDI containers, and handling security roles (HDI roles) for analytics
· Deployment and Lifecycle Management: Use SAP Business Application Studio, Git, and HDI Containers to develop and manage application deployments, following a DevOps approach with CI/CD pipelines.
· Exposure writing and debugging XML and JSON scripts
· Excellent working experience in SQL, PL/SQL – writing complex select queries, optimizing SQL queries, creating Functions, Procedures, Triggers etc.
· Exposure to Data bases like Oracle, Greenplum, PostgreSQL and AWS redshift
· Hands-on experience as a TIBCO Spotfire developer in analysis, design and development
· Experience with TIBCO Spotfire client key concepts, such as filtering schemes, data on demand, property controls, Inform Links (IL), Different type of Joining, different types of charts
· Exposure to Integration of HTML, Java, Iron Python, R scripting in Spotfire.
· Should have strong experience in all phases of the project life cycle. Good to have knowledge on Agile framework.
· Strong ability to understand analytic specifications and translate the specifications into visualizations
· Exceptional communication skill, very good attitude, eagerness to learn, proactive and big appetite for risk.
Required:
· Experience: 5+ years of experience in SAP data warehousing, with significant experience in SAP HANA database development and at least 2–3 years focused on SAP Native HANA
· Technical Proficiency:
· SAP Native HANA: Strong, hands-on experience with data modeling using graphical and SQL-based Calculation Views.
· SQL and SQL Script: Advanced SQL scripting skills, with an ability to write and optimize stored procedures and table functions.
· Integration: Experience with data provisioning and replication tools like SAP CI-DS, SDI, or other relevant ETL technologies.
· Methodology: Experience working in an Agile environment and participating in a project lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment.
Good To Have:
· Knowledge in XML and JSON.
· SAP Business Application Studio (BAS): Proficiency in using BAS for SAP HANA database projects and managing HDI containers.
· Cloud Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and an understanding of cloud-based data architecture.
