Hiring: Senior IT Project Manager – COTS / Government

Location: Lansing, MI – Local Candidates Only / within 1 hour highly preferred
Hybrid: Onsite Monday & Tuesday | Remote Wednesday–Friday
Duration: 12 Months + Possible Extension
Visa: No OPT/CPT

We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager with strong experience managing large-scale, complex enterprise IT initiatives in multi-vendor environments.

🔥 MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS:

✅ 8+ years of IT Project Management experience
✅ 8+ years managing projects with budgets of $20M+
✅ Experience managing large, complex enterprise IT projects
✅ Strong vendor / third-party solution provider management experience
✅ COTS implementation experience
✅ SaaS implementation/integration experience
✅ Experience leading technical and business teams
✅ Strong executive stakeholder management
✅ Experience managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and change requests
✅ Experience managing multiple concurrent projects

⭐ HIGHLY PREFERRED:

• Government / Public Sector project experience
• State Government / DTMB experience
• Multi-vendor government environment experience
• Clarity PPM experience
• PMP certification
• Procurement / RFP project experience
• Agile + Waterfall project management experience

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead large-scale IT implementations and strategic initiatives
• Manage project budgets, schedules, scope, risks, resources, and quality
• Manage vendors, contracts, deliverables, and approvals
• Coordinate business, technical, vendor, and executive stakeholders
• Oversee COTS/SaaS implementation and system integration activities
• Manage change requests and project dependencies
• Prepare executive-level project status reports and presentations
