Role Overview
Hands-on Senior Technical Architect to design and build a scalable, enterprise-grade platform that provides real-time visibility into transaction lifecycles across multiple upstream and downstream systems. The platform will correlate events, monitor transaction status, workflows, identify bottlenecks, detect failures, manage exceptions, and support SLA tracking at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build a transaction lifecycle tracking platform from the ground up.
Architect solutions using the Elastic Stack, including data modeling, index design, ingestion pipelines, and large-scale search and analytics.
Develop real-time dashboards and visualizations for transaction monitoring, exception tracking, bottleneck analysis, and SLA management.
Define standard APIs, integration patterns, and reusable onboarding frameworks for multiple applications.
Design workflow and exception-handling capabilities, including automated alerts and work-item creation.
Ensure scalability, high availability, performance, security, and data retention compliance.
Lead architecture decisions, collaborate with engineering teams, and mentor developers.
Must-Have Skills
Deep hands-on expertise with Elasticsearch and ELK Stack, including cluster sizing, performance tuning, mappings, indexing strategies, ingest pipelines, and Kibana.
Proven experience building high-volume event tracking, transaction monitoring, order tracking, trade lifecycle, or transaction lifecycle management systems.
Strong architecture skills in distributed, event-driven, microservices-based systems.
Hands-on development experience using Java, Python, or similar technologies.
Hands-on experience developing database solutions using relational/NoSQL databases
Experience integrating APIs, Kafka, MQ, event streams, and heterogeneous source systems.
Cloud deployment experience on AWS or Azure.
