Senior AWS IAM Identity Center Engineer

We are seeking a Senior AWS IAM Identity Center Engineer with strong expertise in AWS Identity & Access Management (IAM), AWS IAM Identity Center (AWS SSO), and AWS Data Services. This role will be responsible for enabling secure access to cloud platforms, integrating enterprise identity solutions, and supporting AWS-based data and reporting capabilities.

The ideal candidate combines deep knowledge of AWS identity services with hands-on experience in data platforms, automation, and cloud architecture.

 

Key Responsibilities

Identity & Access Management

• Configure and manage AWS IAM Identity Center (AWS SSO), permission sets, account assignments, and access management.
• Support identity federation and enterprise identity integrations.
• Design and maintain IAM roles, policies, trust policies, and least-privilege access controls.
• Troubleshoot access, authentication, and cross-account authorization issues.
• Partner with security and architecture teams to implement secure cloud access strategies.

AWS Data Platform Support

• Support AWS data services including Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena, and Lake Formation.
• Build and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows.
• Analyze datasets, validate data quality, and develop operational and business reporting.
• Write SQL queries and perform data troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

Automation & Cloud Engineering

• Develop automation using Python, Shell Scripting, Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Build scalable solutions for identity, data, and cloud operations.
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Support cloud adoption initiatives, proof-of-concepts, and solution implementation.
