Job Description

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their team. The ideal candidate should possess strong manual testing expertise along with advanced automation testing skills, primarily focused on applications developed using .NET Framework and .NET Core technologies.

The candidate should be a self-driven professional who takes ownership, adapts quickly to changing requirements, and is willing to expand into Java-based testing environments as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Build and maintain scalable UI, API, and integration test automation frameworks.
• Validate application functionality against business and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with Development, Product, and QA teams to improve quality throughout the SDLC.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and maintain test documentation.
• Participate in test planning, test data management, and release validation.
• Continuously enhance testing processes, tools, and frameworks.

 

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in manual and automation testing.
• 3+ years of experience testing .NET Framework and .NET Core applications.
• 1+ year of automation experience using C#, NUnit, xUnit, Selenium, or Playwright.
• 2+ years of API testing experience (REST/SOAP) using tools such as Postman and RestSharp.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Data migration testing experience (ETL validation, reconciliation, source-to-target comparison).
• Exposure to microservices or event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience or willingness to work with Java testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, and RestAssured.
• Performance and load testing experience.
• Knowledge of contract testing and API validation strategies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
