Job title: Java Technical lead

Location: Atlanta, GA (Only local)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade applications and platforms.
• Define technical architecture, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Program Managers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to software engineers and development teams.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality, security, and performance standards.
• Drive system design discussions and technology selection decisions.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, maintainability, and performance of applications.
• Contribute to roadmap planning, effort estimation, and technical risk assessment.
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
• Support DevOps practices, CI/CD implementation, and cloud adoption initiatives.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements where applicable.

 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of software development experience with at least 2-3 years in a technical leadership role.
• Strong expertise in designing and developing enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with modern programming languages such as Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native applications.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.

 

• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and container technologies.
• Exposure to AI/ML, Data Engineering, or Digital Transformation programs is a plus.
• Relevant certifications in Cloud, Architecture, or Agile methodologies are preferred.
