Role Summary

Solution Architect with 15+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Cloud Data Platforms, Analytics, and Digital Transformation. The role involves defining enterprise data strategy, architecting scalable cloud solutions, driving technology roadmaps, engaging with senior stakeholders, and leading successful delivery of large-scale data modernization initiatives.

 

Roles, Responsibilities & Skills

• Define end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise Data Platforms, Data Lakehouse, Data Warehouse,SQL, Tera Data, Data Stage, Analytics, and AI/ML ecosystems on Azure Cloud.
• Lead architecture discussions with business and technology stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions.
• Drive cloud transformation and migration initiatives leveraging Azure PaaS, IaaS, Databricks, Azure SQL, ADLS, Synapse, and related technologies.
• Establish architecture standards, governance frameworks, security controls, and best practices across programmes and projects.
• Design high-performance, scalable data ingestion, ETL/ELT, real-time, and batch processing architectures.
• Provide technical leadership in solution design, estimation, technical reviews, proof-of-concepts, and proposal development.
• Define enterprise data management strategies including Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, Master Data Management, and Security Compliance.
• Partner with business leaders, enterprise architects, analysts, and delivery teams to define technology roadmaps and prioritise strategic initiatives.
• Drive DevOps, CI/CD, automation, observability, and operational excellence across cloud data platforms.
• Guide development teams on architecture implementation, technical decisions, performance optimisation, and risk mitigation.
• Lead architecture reviews and ensure compliance with enterprise standards, security requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Mentor Technical Leads, Engineers, and Architects while driving organisation-wide capability development and architecture maturity.
• Strong expertise in Azure Databricks, PySpark/Scala, Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Data Modelling, Distributed Data Processing, and Cloud-Native Architectures.
• Excellent stakeholder management, consulting, presentation, and leadership skills with experience managing executive-level customer engagements.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise cloud transformation and data modernisation programmes.
