Title: . Senior Scrum Master
Location: Dallas, TX 
Duration: 6+ Months 

 

The Senior Scrum Master is a servant leader and agile coach who enables high-performing delivery teams through facilitation, coaching, and continuous improvement. Operating within a SAFe or hybrid agile framework, this role fosters team health, removes impediments, and cultivates an environment of collaboration and accountability.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Navigate and apply multiple coaching stances (coaching, mentoring, teaching, facilitating) to grow agile maturity within teams
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Retrospective
• Support PI Planning, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt sessions within SAFe programs
• Mentor Product Owners on user story creation, backlog refinement, and prioritization
• Remove impediments and make work visible; protect team focus and adaptability
• Use team metrics and data to demonstrate capacity, predictability, and maturity
• Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to improve organizational agile practices

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of Scrum Master experience on software delivery teams
• Strong facilitation and coaching skills; ability to operate in multiple coaching stances
• Experience in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environments
• Certified SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) 
• Proven ability to grow self-organizing, high-performing teams

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or RTE experience
• Background in technology-intensive or healthcare delivery programs
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and agile tooling at scale
