Network DevOps Engineer Onsite (Palo Alto,CA)

Scope of Work

• IaC Execution: Develop and maintain Terraform modules to provision multi-cloud network resources (Transit Gateways, VNET Peering, Cloud Routers, and Load Balancers).
  
• Automated Provisioning: Build and troubleshoot Python scripts to automate routine network operations (IPAM updates, DNS record management, and Firewall policy deployments).
  
• Multi-Cloud Connectivity: Standardize cross-cloud connectivity between AWS, GCP, Azure, and OCI using native cloud tools and VPN/Direct Connect configurations.
  
• Pipeline Support: Manage and fix CI/CD deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions) for network infrastructure to ensure clean code merges and successful deployments.
  
• Day-to-Day Operations: Respond to internal infrastructure requests for VPC/VNET modifications, ensuring all changes follow Rubrik's “Network-as-Code” standards.
  

Technical Skills Required

Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in Network DevOps or Cloud Networking.

The Toolkit

• Terraform: Intermediate to Advanced level, including state management and multi-provider blocks.
  
• Python: Strong scripting skills for API interaction (boto3, requests, etc.).
  
• Git: Daily proficiency with GitHub (Pull Requests, branching, resolving merge conflicts).
  
• Networking Foundations: Solid understanding of BGP, routing tables, and Layer 4–Layer 7 (L4–L7) firewalling.
