Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst/Lead Developer to support the Office of Information Technology. This role requires hands-on development, technical leadership, systems analysis, and support for enterprise financial applications. The ideal candidate will have experience leading development teams, driving software quality, and delivering scalable solutions for complex business systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise financial applications.
• Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert on large cross-functional projects.
• Develop robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
• Guide code quality, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Troubleshoot complex application and database issues.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
• Analyze business processes and recommend system improvements.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC standards and development best practices.

Required Skills

• 7+ years as a Lead Developer or Development Manager
• 5+ years with Azure SQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or similar relational databases
• Strong SQL and relational database expertise
• Experience developing and supporting complex financial systems
• Strong systems analysis and problem-solving skills
• Experience leading development teams and mentoring developers
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Visual Studio / .NET
• Entity Framework
• nHibernate or other ORM frameworks

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Work Schedule

• 100% Onsite in Tallahassee, FL (Day 1)
• Monday–Friday during business hours (flexible between 7:00 AM–7:00 PM)
