Position: Scrum Master
Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite) – Locals ONLY
Duration: 6+ months contract
Job Description:
- 8+ years experience as scrum master for software development projects Experience in ADO (Azure Dev Ops)
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done| user stories| automated testing| backlog refinement)
- Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Safe| XP etc.)
- Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
- Outstanding organizational skills Degree in Computer Science| Business or similar field Scrum master certification is a plus
- Experience with software development life cycle| waterfall| and agile principles
- Experience with Scrum| Kanban| and SAFe
- Experience understanding technical issues at a high level
- Experience using Agile/Project Management Tools Azure Dev Ops/JIRA experience
- Ensures Agile (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) concepts and principles are adhered to allow teams to perform and accelerate delivery
- Proficient in planning| organizing| and facilitating Scrum and SAFe events
- Identifies| tracks| and resolves delivery impediments to optimize delivery flow
- Develops and analyzes various reports and artifacts to ensure planned work is delivered within the sprint/release by the delivery team
- Monitors| measures| and reports on project progress to management/leadership
- Monitors and assesses team health and continuous improvement
Education: At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.
