Location: Sunnyvale, CA – Onsite
Key Job Responsibilities
- Lead electrical hardware design for SoC‑based consumer electronic products from concept through mass production with high autonomy and limited guidance.
- Translate product requirements and system specifications into functional block diagrams, detailed schematics, and BOM definitions.
- Design and review SoC / DDR subsystems, including LPDDR5 / LPDDR5X memory interfaces, ensuring signal integrity and timing compliance.
- Implement high‑speed PHY interfaces: PCIe, USB 2.0 / 3.x / Type‑C, GigE, HDMI, DisplayPort, MIPI CSI/DSI, and SerDes channels.
- Design power management architectures, including PMIC selection and integration (AC‑DC, DC‑DC), battery charging circuits (Li‑Ion), power sequencing, and thermal management.
- Develop camera, display, and audio subsystems, including sensors, display drivers, codec integration, and amplifier design.
- Design wireless / RF front‑end circuits for Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, and related protocols; collaborate on antenna integration and RF optimization.
- Implement ESD / EMI protection strategies and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Perform schematic capture using OrCAD Capture and collaborate on multilayer high‑speed PCB layout using Cadence Allegro, including HDI and ALIC stack‑ups.
- Apply DFM / DFA principles to ensure manufacturability, testability, and cost optimization.
- Execute post‑silicon validation and system‑level / SoC‑level failure analysis.
- Lead hardware bring‑up and debug, drive root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with firmware, mechanical, test, and manufacturing teams across geographies.
