Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Software Engineer to join our Platform Engineering Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, automating, configuring, and maintaining enterprise platform environments across Linux and Windows systems. This role involves infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline support, server builds, OpenSearch administration, job scheduling, and SQL query development.
The candidate should possess strong troubleshooting skills, DevOps mindset, automation experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced enterprise environment
Key Skills
• Manage and support enterprise platform environments running on Linux and Windows servers.
• Perform Linux server build, configuration, hardening, and maintenance activities.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Configure and maintain automation tools such as Ansible and Automic.
• Administer and troubleshoot OpenSearch clusters and configurations.
• Dynatrace and Kibana Server Monitoring and health Dashboard setup.
• Execute Unix/Linux shell scripting and command-line operations for automation and system support.
• Perform Oracle SQL development, query execution, and database troubleshooting.
• Monitor application and infrastructure health, performance, and system stability.
• Support deployment activities across development, test, and production environments.
• Collaborate with platform engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and technical guides.
• Participate in release management, deployment validation, and environment readiness activities.
Required skills:
• Strong experience with:
o Linux Administration (RHEL/CentOS preferred)
o Windows Server Administration
o Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting
o GitLab CI/CD pipeline configuration and management
o Ansible configuration and automation
o Automic job scheduling/support
o OpenSearch installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
o Dynatrace installation and configuration
o Oracle SQL Developer
o SQL query writing and execution
o Python/Shell scripting experience
Additional Skills
• Knowledge of:
o DevOps processes and automation practices
o Infrastructure monitoring tools
o Server patching and deployments
o Version control systems (Git)
o Application support in enterprise environments
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Support.
• Experience in banking or financial enterprise environments is preferred.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and container technologies is a plus.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and release management practices.
