Location: Cincinnati, OH (Local candidates within 30 miles only)

Job Summary
Kroger is seeking a Senior Android UI Developer to join its Kroger Design Systems (KDS) Team. This role focuses on building reusable UI components, Android libraries, and design system frameworks that power consistent user experiences across Kroger’s mobile applications.
Required Skills
· 5+ years of Android Development experience
· Strong expertise in Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, XML, and Android Studio
· Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and Material Design
· Experience building and maintaining Design Systems, UI Libraries, and SDKs
· Strong understanding of Android Themes, Styling, and Kotlin Flows
· Experience with CI/CD, Git/GitHub, REST APIs, Room Database, SQLite
· Knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, JSON, and SQL
· Ability to collaborate with Design, Product, and Engineering teams
Preferred
· Experience with analytics/clickstream data
· Multi-app ecosystem support
· Exposure to AI-driven personalization platforms
Must Have: Android SDK, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Material Design, Design Systems, Android Libraries/SDK Development, CI/CD, Git/GitHub.
