Job Summary
This position is responsible for the technical and integration aspects of an integrated private cloud based solution for S/4 HANA FS-RI and ABAP. Techno Functional will be responsible to Provide and review application design documents, write technical specification, develop programs & functions, assist in writing test plans, test scripts, coordinate defect resolution, unit, integration, and UAT testing in the assigned area. The Techno Functional will work closely with ERP Technical and Business SMEs to ensure the business requirements are correctly mapped to technical specs, various integrations followed the appropriate technology and properly implemented.
Duties
⢠Participate in workshops to gather requirements, perform current state and to be state analysis, identify gaps, system dependencies and impact to business processes and users due to the system or business solutions.
⢠Communicate and collaborate with business at all levels to understand and analyze information needs and deliver documents such as business case analysis, work flow diagrams, technical specifications ⢠Drive, challenge and collaborate with business groups to adopt ERP standard processes to reduce customizations and reduce cost in future upgrades.
⢠Responsible for ensuring the BSD and TSD meet the business requirements.
⢠Review technical design documents, unit test results and provide guidance to the team for development or troubleshooting.
⢠Co-ordinate with onsite/offshore team members on technical deliverables and ensure timely completion of tasks.
⢠Responsible for the configuration & development tasks related to FS-RI application.
This requires close collaboration with other analysts that are responsible for other modules within ERP.
⢠Troubleshoot application performance and performing root cause analysis to resolve reported issues through footprint tickets for the Premium Billing issues. ⢠Control and Manage development and configuration environments to ensure the integrity of changes moved to productions.
⢠Closely work with external vendors to facilitate end-to-end integration with Provide clear and timely communication with both IT Management and Business Stakeholders on project deliverables. · · Coordinate development and deployment of new processes and system configuration to meet business needs. Coordinate with different vendors, IT teams to facilitate integration/end to end testing and review results with business.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree/Masters Degree
Experience
Required:
Senior SAP FS-RI Techno Functional with a minimum of 7 to 10 years of implementation experience Experience of at least 3 full lifecycle SAP implementations in the Insurance industry is considered.
Strong skills in SAP ABAP with OOPS, ODATA and UX
Demonstrated experience in process implementation and optimization in the areas of Reinsurance Module
Experience in Configuring Reinsurance Business process
Experience in designing interfaces for communication with external systems. Experience in application design activities. Knowledge of application testing and ability to design, plan and execute application testing strategies and tactics to ensure software quality throughout all stages of application development. Experienced in analyzing standard transactions and identification of OSS notes for SAP fixes.
In depth understanding of technical aspects of key SAP FS-RI processes.
Skills
Required:
Knowledge of the following Software Packages: Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge and demonstrated experience in Finance and business operations.
Ability to conduct in-depth analysis in areas of focus. ⢠Ability to troubleshoot operation of software and make recommendations to improve functionality.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
