- Master’s degree in Human Services, Counseling, Higher Education Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
Experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in ADA compliance or a related role
- Proven experience conducting investigations and resolving ADA-related grievances
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Facilities, Academic Units)
- Experience delivering training and presentations on ADA and accessibility topics
Preferred Qualifications
- ADA Coordinator Certification
- Experience in higher education, particularly within public/state institutions
Knowledge & SkillsRegulatory Knowledge
- ADA Titles I & II
- Sections 503, 504, and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act
- Fair Housing Act
- Texas Administrative Code (TAC 206 & 213)
- DOJ Title II Web Accessibility Rule (2026)
Technical Skills
- Document remediation (Word, PDF, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with assistive technologies (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver)

- Strong program and project management skills
