Essential Skills: Data Migration Manager for Transcend 2.0 – NAROTC
· Experienced Data Migration Specialist with strong expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse
Management (SAP EWM) and SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) to lead
end-to-end data migration activities for an SAP EWM implementation.
· Responsible for data analysis, extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and
loading (ETL) across legacy systems into SAP EWM while ensuring accuracy,
completeness, and compliance with project standards
· Design and build ETL jobs in SAP BODS for extraction, transformation, and loading of
EWM-related data.
· Develop the data migration strategy, methodology, and detailed migration plan for SAP
EWM.
· Work with functional, technical, and business teams to understand data objects, structures, and transformation rules. · Identify data migration risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans. · Create reusable components, workflows, and data quality rules in BODS. · Optimize BODS jobs for performance, error handling, and recovery.
Roles & Responsibilities
· Perform data quality checks, de-duplication, standardization, and transformation.
· Work with business teams to validate legacy data and coordinate cleansing activities.
· Execute cycle testing and mock loads to ensure data readiness.
· Execute mock loads, cutover loads, and production migration using BODS, LTMC,
LTMOM, or custom load tools.
· Maintain mapping documents, transformation rules, migration design documents, and
test evidence.
· Ensure compliance with data governance, audit requirements, and security standards.
· Work closely with SAP EWM functional consultants, BASIS, ABAP developers, business
SMEs, and project managers.
Generic Managerial Skills, If any
• Global ERP Implementation experience working with multi-national companies in multi-
cultural environments is a plus
• Knowledge of the new SAP best practices a definite plus
• Ability to leverage and build assets/accelerators and deliver thought leadership
publications
