Position: Azure DevOps Engineer with Bicep templates
Location: Tampa, FL (Onsite) – Need locals ONLY
Duration: 6+ months contract
Rate: $53/hr on C2C
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with strong skills in Bicep templates, YAML pipelines, and cloud automation. The ideal candidate will support our CI/CD processes, infrastructure automation, and cloud governance while collaborating closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams. Experience in Tax or Financial Services environments is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage Azure infrastructure using Bicep (laC).
- Develop and maintain Azure DevOps YAML pipelines for CI/CD.
- Automate deployments, configuration, and environment provisioning.
- Ensure security, compliance, and governance standards are met.
- Support monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on Azure DevOps experience (Repos, Pipelines, Boards).
- Strong knowledge of Bicep, laC, and Azure services.
- Proficiency with automation tools (PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
- Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and cloud security.
- Experience in Tax/Financial Services preferred.
Nice to Have:
- Docker/Kubernetes (AKS).
- Terraform or GitHub Actions.
- Azure certifications (AZ-400, AZ-104, AZ-305).
Education: At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.
